Prague is a surprisingly touchy feely place. Not people touching people you understand but people touching statues. Everywhere you go youse see these black statues that have been touched in a special place. Where they have been continually touched the metal shines. This I assume gives out an even stronger “touch me feel me” signal so that even the tourists pick it up and start to touch inanimate objects. Sometimes this is done with a sort of religious fervour, sometimes not.
